The Forum Citoyen Libre will hold its 6th public meeting on October 12 at La Place Taxi in Phoenix. George Ah Yan, spokesman for the forum said they
advocate a noble cause.
He said they will continue to protest against Air Mauritius’ refusal to provide free tickets to children who undergo surgery abroad.
The social worker has reiterated his appeal that the sum given by the government to sick children who undergo treatment abroad is not sufficient.
“Parents or relatives accompanying sick children must also be provided with free tickets by Air Mauritius as this will enable these young patients to get psychological support,” he said.
