Minister of Education and Human Resources Vasant Bunwaree, who was present at the event, said the signing of this MoU signifies a concrete step in fostering closer cooperation, which will definitely open an array of avenues for further collaboration.
“This scholarship project reflects SBM’s will to make access to education even easier to ensure the future of those who have the potential to succeed,” he said.
He added, “SBM’s CSR incentive is timely as it reflects the government‘s vision to better achieve its objectives in improving the living standards of the population.”
The minister said this will help achieve the development of a skilled, versatile and competent workforce and promote social mobility. He added that the MITD has also established strong partnerships with enterprises and other industry stakeholders to keep up with changing trends and demands of the economy.
