Microsoft Indian Ocean has unveiled the Windows Phone 7, the latest Microsoft operating system for mobile phones. The software has been designed to help users stay connected while away from office. It provides a single interface.
The smartphone HTC Mozart, operating on the new Windows Phone 7 platform, is now available at Maurisystem Ltd, the representative of HTC in Mauritius. “Windows Phone 7 represents an ambitious effort to make a differentiated offer for mobile phones,” said Linley Meslier, Microsoft most valuable professional (MVP) for Windows Phone in Mauritius.
“Many new features have been integrated in the Windows Phone 7 to make it a platform capable of attracting both the traditional target, namely professionals, as well as the general public. It offers opportunities to both to benefit from important personal data management and customisation capabilities of social networks,” he added.
Zakir Heerah, director of Maurisystems, representing HTC in Mauritius, said the added value for customers establishes a new reference for the mobile phone
industry.
The new software also allows the integration of all Microsoft services such as Zune to access music, Xbox Live for games, Office to edit and share documents,
Windows Live to stay in touch with loved ones and Bing for contextual and optimal research.
