Starting from April 1, Zoom, the Bollywood destination is available on Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) which has triggered reshuffling of programmes at the national station.
Doordarshan (DD) Channels, DD India, DD Bharati and DD Sports have been replaced by Zoom Tv and other programmes on MBC 2 and MBC Digital 4. Zoom Tv can be watched on MBC Digital 6.
Apart from these new channel replacements, MBC has also links with various Indian and Pakistani channels.
The Independent Daily spoke to advisor to MBC programme and production for oriental programmes, Bhoomitra Sharma Ayrga.
MBC had to reschedule their show timings and programmes, the change had become inevitable.
So far, MBC 2 and MBC 4 have kept the serials and Hindi films. However, an important change has been effected to MBC 4 regarding repeats of the serials and feature films. Previously viewers had to wait for eight days to catch up on missed episodes but now MBC has changed this timing to an eight hour loop where the serial episodes are telecast thrice daily, at 8am, 4pm and the last one at midnight.
Zoom Tv is the second most viewed channel on YouTube in India with more than 300 million video views till date. The shows are syndicated globally. Mauritius becomes the 17th country to receive Zoom signals.

it was being broadcasted live earlier and now, it is being shown 2 or 3 days late, at times 1 week late.
MBC should not make people dream big as they cannot satisfy to the MINImum. i have to watch zoom on http://live.indiatimes.com/default.cms?timesnow=1 to be updated. it was much much better earlier. i hope that it will be aired live soon.
i think u are right
the new program schedule on mbc4 for sat and sun is absolutely ridiculous.the serials are already being played thrice a day. why rebroadcasting them again on saturday and sunday?
