The Cybercity at Ebène will become the country’s first 24/7 zone.
The official announcement will be made during the inauguration of the fifth edition of the 24/7 campaign on October 29 at the Ebène Cyber Tower One.
The opening ceremony will be conducted at 6 pm by minister of Education and Human Resources Vasant Bunwaree and minister of Information and Communication Technology Tassarajen Pillay Chedumbrum.
This time, the 24/7 campaign will be held at Rose Hill and Ebène from October 29 to 31 and will also include late night activities at Trianon and Phoenix Les Halles. During these three days, concerts and plays will be organised with local artistes.
There will also be a children’s corner. A talent competition will be held at Plaza in Rose Hill where the winner will receive the Best Promising Artist 2010 award.
The Municipality of Beau Bassin / Rose Hill will also participate in the 24/7 festival. As with previous editions of the campaign, provisions will be made to ensure transport is available till midnight.
